14 Days Guaranteed Living or Credit we'll be giving!
- Our 14 day guarantee begins at time of delivery. ***Orders picked up locally at our facility should be inspected by the customer prior to acceptance as they are transported by the customer, they are NOT covered by our 14 day guarantee.
- We will credit your account with Reefs2go.com for any animals claimed under our 14 Day Guarantee (DOA or otherwise), unless the items is marked as excluded from our guarantee on the website, provided a picture of the item, on the original packing slip contained the the shipment is received by us within the 14 day window, requests submitted without the required picture can not be processed.
- Upon receipt of your shipment, a packing slip is included in your box- please make sure to keep the packing slip - the item must be photographed on the packing slip so we can see the order number, date and packing info. A duplicate packing slip is not available so please make sure to keep the one you receive with your order.
Acclimating marine life in any type of styrofoam container will void the 14 day guarantee
Also note--during cold weather, live item(s) will slow significantly in response to the cold. SLOW acclimation is a must for success. If you do not have airline tubing, which is necessary to complete the acclimation it is available on our site for a small fee. We reserve the right to require the expired animal to be shipped back to Reefs2go for a full store credit of the cost of the animal(s) which are dead.
We do not cover the cost of shipment of animals claimed under our 14 Day Guarantee (DOA or otherwise). Claims processed under our 14 Day Guarantee are processed for the live items only and do not include original shipping charges as those are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Any non live animal item (ie: pump, skimmer, etc) can be returned for full refund within 30 days of purchase.

I want FREE shipping - how can I get my LIVE items shipped for FREE?
Free Shipping can be obtained many different ways. Here are some options on how to get it.
- 1. Order a package that comes with FREE shipping. If you add LIKE items to the package - they will ship for FREE as well. However, if you add an item that has a greater level of sensitivity than the FREE shipping package, an option for a more expedited shipping service will appear, but at a reduced rate to accommodate the free shipping with the package.
- 2. If your cart contains items which are LEVEL1 items (ie: fish, sensitive corals as indicated on the product page), and your cart totals $169.99 or more - FedEx/UPS Premium Overnight service will be FREE.
- 3. If your cart contains items which are LEVEL2 items (ie: sensitive inverts as indicated on the product page), and your cart totals $169.99 or more - FedEx/UPS NON Premium Overnight service will be FREE.
- 4. If your shipping address is within FLORIDA - all LIVE stock orders totaling $69.99 or more - ship for FREE!! (please select the option for free shipping from the pull down on the cart page)

Shipping to Puerto Rico is priced as follows: all order must ship Priority Overnight which is $39.99 - however orders to PR which exceed $250.00 (before S/H/T) - will receive FREE shipping.
Please understand- we try to keep our site as up to date as possible- however since we specialize in live animals - there are times when they just do not cooperate with us and sit patiently on the shelf waiting to be shipped.
When will I receive my shipment?
- There is a 1-4 business day processing period on all orders before they are shipped.
- Since livestock is different then shipping dry products, we can only ship livestock on certain days to avoid weekend delays, this is the reason for the broad processing period.
- We do our best to get your order shipped out as promptly as possible.
- Be aware that Premium or NON Premium overnight shipping does not mean you will receive your order the day after you place it, the order still must go through the 1-4 business day processing period prior to being shipped.

We do not cover the cost of shipment of the missing or DOA critters at a later date.
We can ship on a requested date in many circumstances - please just request in the notes section of the order.
Please provide a physical address for shipping. Please make sure the address & phone # which is on your profile is correct prior to check out. We ship to the address on your profile and the phone number will be included for the carrier to contact you in the event of a problem with your package.
Items such as Pumps, Skimmers, etc (non living items) will be shipped via UPS or USPS. This will be determined by the seller based upon size/weight of the item.

» Can I come and get my items in your store?Our store is available online only. We are not open to the public and customer's are not permitted to enter the shipping facility for the safety of our animals. We do schedule customer pick ups locally, if you could place your order in the system as soon as possible (there is a 1-4 day processing time for an order) and then in the order notes tell us what day you would like to pick up your order. We schedule customer pick ups on Tuesday - Thursdays between the hours of 3 PM and 5PM. ***Orders picked up locally at our facility should be inspected by the customer prior to acceptance as they are transported by the customer; they are NOT covered by our 14 day guarantee. » When is my order shipping?Orders are shipped based on when they are placed and availability in the current shipping schedule. Order processing time is between 1-4 days. You should received an email with your scheduled shipping date the day after your order is paid in full. Baring any technical difficulties, you should expect to receive a shipping confirmation email in your inbox with tracking information on the evening of that scheduled date. Your package will be sent via the method you selected at check out when it is shipped. The tracking information should provide you with an estimated date of delivery so that you can plan receipt of your order.
Please note that paying for overnight shipping does not mean that you will receive your animals the following day. It does mean that you should expect to receive your package the day after the package leaves our facility.
Requests that do not match with the shipping service selected at checkout can not be honored. i.e. An order with 2-day service selected and request of a delivery day of Monday... (we plan our animals' travel in every effort to avoid them sitting is a shipping facility over a weekend or long holiday and we have no shipping providers that process shipment on Saturday and Sunday) A request to ship an order out overnight on Friday that does not include the Saturday delivery fee in addition to the Premium overnight shipping selection... (We ship Monday - Friday, however there is an additional mandatory carrier charge to deliver an order on a Saturday, please note that this service may not available in all areas, please check with the carrier directly for options available within your delivery zip code.)
» Why can't my order be shipped immediately?While there are many factors that influence shipping date the most important is assessing each item to ensure it is ready for the journey. Orders are shipped based on when they are placed and availability in the current shipping schedule. Order processing time is between 1-4 days. For Alaska and Puerto Rico, please contact us directly as there are times during the year when the temperature makes shipping to Alaska unavailable and there is an additional shipping charge for Puerto Rico - we will be happy to discuss optimum shipping times with you, just give us a call.
We do not currently ship to Hawaii, as the Department of Agriculture there has a habit of holding packages an inordinate amount of time for identification of species causing an unacceptable mortality rate. If you select to order with a destination address of Hawaii, we reserve the right to cancel your order. If your order does ship and is held, detained, destroyed or otherwise compromised by the Department of Agriculture we can not be held responsible for the loss.
» Can I get my package delivered on a Saturday?Saturday delivery must be scheduled in advance and is an extra $14.99 charge. Please note that this service may not available in all areas, please check with the carrier directly for options available within your delivery zip code.

» How will my live animal shipment be packaged?We take great care in the packaging of our animals. Each item is assessed the morning of shipment, again during bagging, boxing, and once more before the box is closed and shipped. We begin with good quality water and ship them at their lowest optimal temperature to slow their metabolism which decreases the rate of deterioration of the environmental factors inside the shipment. Live animals are always packaged with pure oxygen at a bag ratio of 2/3 the bag volume. This is because the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water is the most limiting factor in shipping aquatic life.
They are insulated with a thick Styrofoam cooler, medical grade heat packs or cool packs depending on the expected weather for your delivery zip code to keep the temperature relatively constant during their trip. The Styrofoam box is then packaged in quality cardboard boxes and labeled "Live Fish" and "This Side Up". We work hard to ensure that we do everything possible to limit the stress on our animals so that they arrive healthy and ready to be acclimated into their new home.

» My shipment was rescheduled.... why?As you know, we ship live animals, and sometimes they do not sit pretty on the shelf, waiting to be shipped. We want to send you the healthiest animals with the most complete order. Because of this, there are times when we must reschedule a shipment, please note that all shipments are subject to possible reschedule.
In the event there is a dilemma of sorts, you will be notified via email as early as possible. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience should that occur. However with the years of experience we have in shipping live animals, we know that if the animal looks sad (ie: less than healthy, etc) when they leave us- they will certainly die - and we can not bear their demise simply to make a shipment/schedule. I hope you can understand and appreciate our position.
