Chocolate Starfish
Protoreastor nodosus
The Chocolate Starfish is also known as the Chocolate Chip Starfish. It should be kept in a large aquarium housing mild-mannered fish. It is not reef safe and they will eat soft corals, sponges, tubeworms, clams, and other starfish. It is important to keep in mind that the Chocolate starfish can grow up to 15 inches in diameter, and because of this, it is appropriate for only very large aquariums.
