The Bubble Tip Brittle Starfish is also known as the Knobby Fancy Brittle Sea Star or Chain Link Brittle Star, has a smaller central oral disc with long arms which are decorated with paddle like balloon shaped appendages. Like many starfish, it is nocturnal and will hide in the rock work - appearing at night to eat and wander about exploring the reef.
Although reef safe, housing this starfish with small unsuspecting fish like sea horses is not advised.
