The Astria Snail is a very good algea eater for the aquarium. These snails will keep the tank very clean and algea free. They cannot right themselves so placement is critical when they arrive. Very easy to care for and a very reef safe snail.

- The astrea snail requires SLOW drip acclimation and water parameters that are pristine. Even slight traces of nitrates can be harmful to the astrea snail.
- The astrea snail can not right itself when toppled over, so careful attention to placement in tank must be shown.

I ordered a bunch of these during the snail sale. All arrived alive and well. I put them in my tank and they seem to be doing just fine taking care of the algae on the tank walls. Another great purchase from Reefs2Go and fast service. |

Everything arrived alive. I placed them all individually in a row next to the tank glass and most were easily able to start climbing on. Make sure to flip them if they're knocked over! |
