The Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp is a must have in any tank with fish. The best friend of many fish it acts as the scrub brush and tooth brush for the fish. These shrimp can be kept in multiples and are fun to watch as the wash station will be a buzz with fish coming in for a quick cleaning. Under hangs of rocks are a favorite with these shrimp and fish have be seen backing in to the station for a quick pick and cleaning by the shrimp.
The Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp has two bright red bands running down its back and so it is often referred to as the Red Skunk Cleaner Shrimp. The Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp is also called the Indo-Pacific White-Banded Cleaner Shrimp, Indo-Pacific White-Striped Cleaner Shrimp, Skunk Cleaner Shrimp or the Scarlet Cleaner Shrimp.
