The Coco Worm aka Hard Tube Worm lives in calcareous tubes with a diameter of 2-3 cm and ranging from 6-24cm in length. The worms calcareous tubes are usually coiled, however, with the opening pointing upward. They collect plankton and other organic particles using the branchial crown. The coco worm should be kept ina tank with an elevated organic load and moderate flow. The branchial crown can be cast off after a certain period of time, and a new one develops.
