The Fuzzy Saltwater Arrow Crab is a slight bit different than the standard arrow crab as it has fuzzy tufts of soft skin coming from its body and legs which allows it to camouflage itself in seaweed. They do not grow as large as the standard arrow crab however it is a hardy and long living crab that likes to be on rocks and scavenges for food. Supplementing food for them is a good idea. Very enjoyable to watch as they move in odd ways. | |= COMMON NAME: ||= Fuzzy Arrow Crab | |= SCIENTIFIC NAME: ||= Stenorhynchus sp | |= SIZE AVAILABLE: ||= ~1 1/2 inches | |= MINIMUM TANK SIZE: ||= 20 gallons | |= FOOD/DIET: ||= Carnivore | |= CARE LEVEL: ||= Moderately easy | |= REEF SAFE: ||= Considered safe, but aggressive | |= AVAILABILITY: ||= Most always available - 99% | *Fantastic scavengers which are highly sought after for their diet of Bristle Worms and Flat Worms. *Only one should be kept per tank and they should only be kept in larger tanks. *A very unique crab and extremely helpful in the reef by eating bristle worms. *Has very long legs that can be up to three times it's body lenght.
