Having a clean aquarium is essential for the health of the animals. Corals will thrive in an environment which has a more constant pH; fluctuating only between lights on / off. I went to order this and found it was out of stock. Sent an email asking to be notified of when it would be back in stock. Within 12 hours I had an email back and called and talked to Nikki and I was able to order the crew. Came in with a few hours had the order info and now they are cleaning up the tank. I have another order for some different items and will order from again in the future. CS is top notch and have me as a customer as long as they are around!!! |

Soooo... I'm not sure anyone would believe that this crew arrived with ZERO casualties, but it did. Since all the snails are shipped dry, I put them all in a big, flat bottomed Pyrex dish - each in a separate pile. Within 15 minutes, the piles had dissappeared. The snails all started crawling and climbing over each other - very robust! The white and red legged hermits are nearly fearless and would only retreat to their shells if they were picked up. The blue legs took a while to come around but all seem to have made it so far (10 hours or so). The lettuce nudibranch just sort of rolled around in the bag as he was acclimating and I thought he might not make it, but as soon as I put him on a rock (with plenty of algae) he took hold and has already cleaned a spot! Finally, emerald crabs. Both have bodies about as big as a nickel and are a beautiful green (unlike previous emeralds we've had that were brownish-greenish) and one found some algae and went right to work - the other is alive, but went to a corner and hasn't left - time will tell if he'll make it. This is a great crew - glad we ordered! |
