Also known as Picasso Triggerfish and Huma Picasso Triggerfish, this trigger is NOT reef safe as it will eat small crustaceans. It requires small feedings several times throughout the day. Triggers can be kept with multiples of their same species without issue.

Love my Humu Humu, but he's a terror on all inverts other than some peppermint shrimp and a chocolate chip star I have. I regularly buy hermits and snails to replenish the cleaning crew he demolishes. His current fave seems to be emerald crabs, so watch out!

Huma Humas are excellent trigger fish with a lot of personality, especially when young. Not reef safe, and should be fed food that sometimes has a bit of shell with it, since they need to wear down their beak!
