The Hectors Goby is a small goby with a blackish/blue body with bright yellow stripes which run the length of its body. This fish prefers an environment which will allow him to hide when needed. This goby will sift the sand and graze on algae both a plus in a reef tank.
This is a non aggressive fish and is safe with both corals and other invertebrates. Feeding this goby a mixed diet of algae and prepared marine food such as frozen mysis is advised. This goby will also enjoy a treat of amphipods and copepods if available in the aquarium.
