- Always do better in groups!!
- Males have a bright red dorsal fin and do not have red bands on their tails. The females are a yellow-orange color. Pale purple to white below and the dorsal fin is a lighter red, especially the front part.
- Like many anthias, this species is often reluctant to feed in the aquarium, with live brine shrimp often being needed to induce a feeding response. Keep with other peaceful fish.
