The Coral Beauty Angelfish is a relatively peaceful fish that does very little or no harm to invertebrates, although it may be inclined to occasionally peck at tubeworms or coral polyps. The Coral Beauty is an attractive fish that varies in its intensity of coloration depending on where it was collected in the wild. It is generally resistant to disease and grows to a maximum of 4 inches. It should be kept in a reef tank where it can browse on algae growing on the live rock. This fish should be kept with many rock crevices to hide in, because the more there are, the more secure it will feel and the more it will come out into the open.

I got this guy and was impressed with the colors. Picture doesnt do it justice. I have him in my tank with a Bi-Color Anggel where most people would say they wouldnt get along; but they do remarkably well. After acclimation he fit in like he has been there as long as the rest of my fish. Just make sure you have hidey places set up for him.

The coral beauty is a great first fish. They are very easy to take care of once they are acclimated to the tank. They might nip at corals, but as long as you feed them, they are happy and good long lasting fish. Make sure your parameters are good, also. Reefs2go is a great place to get healthy fish!
